Introducing the Clean Arm for trash receptacles!
For years, after a meal restaurant patrons have been expected to place their trash in a trash bin provided by the restaurant. The use of these trash receptacles involves the patron passing unused food and trash through a less than friendly access opening. To open the enclosure the patron normally places their hand or tray against the exterior surface of the enclosure and pushes it inward. The debris is then passed through the access provided by the enclosure opening. Unfortunately this procedure frequently results in trash, debris, etc., coming in direct contact with the users hand, thereby exposing the patron to germs and other contaminants.

If the patron uses the tray provided, as soon as the tray is dipped to “dump” the trash, the closure comes crashing back to knock the trash off the tray, and the enclosure often becomes soiled form the product being deposited. In order to avoid such unsanitary conditions, there is an obvious need for some type of handle assembly which allows the positioning of the patrons hand, when opening the enclosure door, to be clearly free with any contact with debris, and also preferably out of direct contact with the exterior surface of the trash receptacle itself.

That is why we developed and patented the Clean Arm handle!
